“FINAL FANTASY VII, first released in 1997, has been beloved by fans for many years and has since become a “legend” in its own right. The FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series that began in 2020 with everyone’s passionate support is finally reaching its climactic finale with FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION. The story’s final destination represents my emotions spanning thirty years working on this title; and yet, as the developer, our hands alone cannot turn its final page. It’s only when you, the player, step inside and memorialize this journey that a new “legend” is finally born. We hope you witness the coming together of our hearts, and yours.” – Yoshinori Kitase, Producer
“I’m beyond excited to announce FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, launching simultaneously across all platforms in Spring 2027. I’m truly grateful to our fans who believed in this story and supported us for so many years. In this title, centered around “resolve,” Cloud and his companions will confront their respective convictions and continue their journey towards the final battle that will determine the planet’s fate. All the stories and emotions accumulated over the years will culminate in the most satisfying way with this experience, brought to you as the series’ final chapter. Please look forward to it.” – Naoki Hamaguchi, Director
“As creators, we have carefully built and nurtured the FINAL FANTASY VII series over many years, expanding it through numerous spin-off titles along the way. Over time, we believe each fan has developed their own unique interpretation of the story, and our goal has been to bring all of these FINAL FANTASY VII stories together so that they ultimately converge in the final chapter of the Remake Series. While there may be a mix of excitement and uncertainty, we are confident that this journey will remain an unforgettable experience for years to come. Thank you sincerely for joining us and being part of this journey over so many years.” – Tetsuya Nomura, Creative Director

Orbitals released new gameplay!
Finally we get to see more gameplay and get feel about the game Orbitals.
Tokyo-based game developer Shapefarm and publisher Kepler Interactive have today revealed a brand-new gameplay video for their upcoming retro anime-inspired 2-player co-operative adventure Orbitals, blasting off this Summer exclusively for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system.
Check out the new Orbitals gameplay trailer here:
today’s new video features commentary by two of Shapefarm’s creative leads: Game Director Jakob Lundgren and Creative Director Marcos Ramos. Together they explore a derelict space station with asymmetrical gameplay: one player must constantly recharge the CH1B1 drone’s battery with the Beam Cannon, while another uses the Scrap Hook to grab objects, levers, and doors to clear the path forward. Orbitals features many unique gameplay scenarios and puzzles throughout the course of the game, adding new layers and ways for players to engage with the environment using their trusty tools and wits.
Learn more about Jakob and Marcos below:
Jakob Lundgren – Game Director
With more than a decade of experience creating narrative-driven cooperative games, Jakob has dedicated his career to bringing people together through play. His work on titles such as A Way Out, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction has given him deep insight into what makes co-op experiences engaging, meaningful, and accessible to players of all skill levels. He is driven by a passion for crafting varied and collaborative experiences full of charm and humor, where communication and teamwork are essential to succeed.
Marcos Ramos – Creative Director
With 10+ years of experience in the industry, and many more adoring anime, Marcos has made his life goal to craft riveting moments for players. Be it action, comedy, the grotesque; or like in Orbitals, all of them combined into one, Marcos’ approach is always the same: to weave narrative, art, and audio together in unexpected ways to create stories that are truly special.
Just as Jakob and Marcos team-up in today’s video, players will be able to connect in various ways using their Nintendo Switch 2 console. Either by teaming up with two pairs of Joy-Con™ 2 controllers on a single Nintendo Switch 2 device for split-screen local co-op, or using the system’s GameShare feature to share Orbitals with another player on a compatible Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch device, players around the world can team up and save the day together as one inseparable team!

Bandai Namco announces ‘Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters’ for 2026 release
Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced Wednesday that the long-running anime soccer saga will return to consoles and PC later this year with “Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters.”
The title, developed by TAMSOFT CORPORATION, marks the franchise’s first major entry in more than six years. Billed as “Super Action Soccer,” the sequel looks to move beyond traditional sports simulation by treating soccer matches as high-stakes battles where players utilize superhuman abilities.
According to the publisher, “World Fighters” will be the most expansive entry in the series to date. The game is set to feature 22 national teams, more than 110 playable characters, and a library of more than 150 unique special moves. These “super moves” will apply to all facets of the game, including passing, dribbling, and tackling.
The gameplay introduces a revamped tactical system for goal-scoring opportunities. This new mechanic pits goalkeepers directly against shooters, allowing both sides to trigger cinematic counters and signature blocks seen in the original manga and anime.

Players can also engage in a custom story mode, creating their own character to join Tsubasa on a quest for a world championship. The journey emphasizes building internal team friendships and navigating rivalries on the pitch.

To maintain the series’ signature energy, Tadayoshi Makino returns as the sound composer. The upcoming title will feature more than 80 new background music tracks.

“Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters” is scheduled to launch later in 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Additional information is available at the game’s official website: www.bandainamcoent.com/games/captain-tsubasa-2-world-fighters.
