    LONDON (Aug. 25, 2026) – During gamescom Opening Night Live, the annual presentation that kicks off gamescom, SQUARE ENIX debuted a new trailer for FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, the third and final entry in the epic, critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series. FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION will release in Spring 2027 for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC via Steam®, Epic Games Store and XBOX on PC.

    In the trailer, enormous guardians called Weapons emerge to defend a world in crisis. Making no distinction between friend and foe, the Weapons wreak catastrophic destruction upon the planet and its people. Upon desert sands, in mid-air dogfights and at the bottom of the sea, Cloud and his fellow heroes must stand against the colossal Weapons even as they toil to save the world from Sephiroth. A late-game element of the original FINAL FANTASY VII, the Weapons return in reimagined glory as standout battles in FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, some of which appear in ultra-challenging endgame battles as an homage to their original forms.


    The gamescom trailer also showcased the powerful new Summon Typhon and open-world exploration via parachute, grappling hook and Chocobo mounts, plus Cloud and Tifa in their Warrior and Black Mage FITS. New to FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, the FITS system introduces unique outfits that bestow new abilities and greater heights of power, with specialized roles evoking classic FINAL FANTASY jobs.


    In FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, Cloud Strife and his loyal companions face a world that teeters on the brink of annihilation.     Tribute games announced that Marvel Cosmic Invasion is getting new DLC bringing in the Marvel big bad, Doctor Von Doom! This has me ready to hop back in play more. I know there’s been new characters added but new stages and modes will always bring me back.

    Publisher Dotemu ( Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge , Absolum ) and studio Tribute Games ( Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge , Scott Pilgrim EX ) today unveiled the first image for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom . This new DLC focuses on Doctor Doom , and the game will also introduce two new playable characters. Nominated for a DICE Award, MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a cooperative tag-team beat ’em up that celebrates the golden age of the MARVEL universe. Its next DLC, The Siege of Castle Doom, will be released on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2026.

    Wild Blue Skies is coming to NS2

    We finally have a bit more information about when Wild Blue Skies will make its way to Switch to compete with Star Fox.

    Chuhai Labs and Balor Games are excited to announce that Wild Blue Skies, a modern reimagining of classic on-rails action games, is coming to Nintendo Switch this Fall. The Nintendo version will come feature-complete shortly after the game launches on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 13, 2026 and will be available for $14.99 USD on all platforms.

    The final battle is on the horizon. Final Fantasy VII Revelation has been announced for Spring 2027. The details for third game in the trilogy is below.

     At Summer Game Fest Live, SQUARE ENIX® announced FINAL FANTASY™ VII REVELATION, the third and final entry in the epic, critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series. FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION will release in Spring 2027 simultaneously for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and XBOX PC.

    During the presentation, Director Naoki Hamaguchi and Matt Mercer, the English voice of Vincent Valentine, debuted the official Reveal Trailer and gave an extended look at gameplay.

    Capcom release a bunch of updates and information for the upcoming year for their current and upcoming games.

    Capcom lit up the stage at the Summer Game Fest 2026 live showcase with the reveal of a reanimated Resident Evil™ Veronica, a high-flying trailer introducing marauding monsters and breathtaking vistas in the massive Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance™, and a (seventh) heavenly roster reveal for Street Fighter™ 6 Year 4!

    Resident Evil Veronica Makes Its Spine-Tingling Entrance at Summer Game Fest 2026

    Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of the beloved classic Resident Evil™ Code: Veronica, was announced for release in 2027 at Summer Game Fest! The next chapter in the iconic Resident Evil™ survival horror series features the return of fan-favorite heroine Claire Redfield and will release across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, and PC via Steam.

    Catch the gripping Resident Evil Veronica reveal trailer 


    Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.

    Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance Takes to the Skies in 2027


    Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, the massive expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds™, was announced today at Summer Game Fest. The upcoming expansion for the action RPG launches worldwide in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

    The reveal delivered a first look at the content-rich expansion, showcasing new and returning monsters, refined gameplay mechanics, a new high-altitude locale, and more. Watch the trailer 


    Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance advances the story of the Forbidden Lands as the Expedition Team’s adventure soars to a new locale set amongst the clouds. In the expansion, hunters will explore islands in the sky and wield explosive new abilities that evolve the gameplay and take the hunting action to new heights. The challenge will also rise to a whole new level with the return of Elder Dragons and Master Rank content.

    Monster Hunter Wilds is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and can also be purchased via the Capcom Town Store. Hunters can sharpen their weapons for the quests ahead by picking up the base game today, which is currently on sale for up to 58% off.



    Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series Makes a Starshower as she Joins the Year 4 Roster of Street Fighter 6 with Yasmine, Arjun, and Bosch!


    Street Fighter 6 Year 4 knuckles down for another year of pulse pounding pugilism, as four new characters arrive to showcase the meaning of Unbridled Strength. The Year 4 roster features iconic special guest Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series, the brand new fighters Yasmine and Arjun, and the second protagonist of World Tour Bosch!     • Yasmine (Summer 2026), a highschooler hailing from the Philippines joins the fight to search for her long-lost brother. Despite her shy and gentle demeanor, Yasmine beams with confidence whenever she uses her crescent-shaped karambit knife to dance around her opponents at high speed just like her Lolo taught her.
    • Arjun (Autumn 2026) uses extraordinary lung capacity combined with yogic breathing to unleash explosive power with his unique Bare-knuckle Yoga techniques. While working as a police officer in India Arjun was accused of killing a colleague and now lives on the run while he searches for the true culprit.
    • Tifa (Early 2027) is a highly skilled practitioner of Zangan-ryu Martial Arts and a member of the “Avalanche” resistance group. During her journey with her companions, she is unexpectedly transported to another world where she encounters and bonds with new fighters. Tifa excels in close-range combat, combining martial arts techniques with unique powers called Abilities.
    • Bosch (Spring 2027) departed his home nation of Nayshall to pursue the true meaning of strength and eventually wins the sacred martial arts tournament. His travels brought him to Metro City where he trained under Luke to incorporate modern combat methods into the ancient techniques of Nayshall’s warrior faith.


    Year 4 Character and Ultimate Passes are available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and available for pre-order on Nintendo Switch 2. Street Fighter 6 and Street Fighter™ 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition are also respectively on sale for 50% and 35% off for a limited time! The Year 4 Character Pass unlocks all four characters in addition to Outfit 1 Colors 3-10 for each character and 3,000 Drive Tickets.   • Orbitals released new gameplay!

    Orbitals released new gameplay!

    Finally we get to see more gameplay and get feel about the game Orbitals.

    Tokyo-based game developer Shapefarm and publisher Kepler Interactive have today revealed a brand-new gameplay video for their upcoming retro anime-inspired 2-player co-operative adventure Orbitals, blasting off this Summer exclusively for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system.

    today’s new video features commentary by two of Shapefarm’s creative leads: Game Director Jakob Lundgren and Creative Director Marcos Ramos. Together they explore a derelict space station with asymmetrical gameplay: one player must constantly recharge the CH1B1 drone’s battery with the Beam Cannon, while another uses the Scrap Hook to grab objects, levers, and doors to clear the path forward. Orbitals features many unique gameplay scenarios and puzzles throughout the course of the game, adding new layers and ways for players to engage with the environment using their trusty tools and wits.
