Bob Marley: One Love

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Bob Marley biopic, Bob Marley: One Love. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, with Lashana Lynch as his wife, Rita. The trailer focuses on the period after a 1976 assassination attempt on Marley, as he prepares to return to Jamaica in 1978 for the One Love Peace Concert.

The trailer shows Marley struggling to come to terms with the attempt on his life, but also determined to use his music to bring peace to Jamaica. We see him rehearsing for the One Love Peace Concert, and giving a speech about the importance of love and unity.

The trailer also features some of Marley’s most famous songs, including “No Woman, No Cry” and “One Love/People Get Ready.” The music is used to powerful effect, and helps to create a sense of hope and optimism.

Bob Marley: One Love is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who also directed the 2021 film King Richard. The film is due to be released in theaters in 2024.

The trailer is visually slick. The recreation of Jamaica in the late 1970s is on point.

Overall, the trailer for Bob Marley: One Love is a promising sign for the film. It looks to be a well-made and inspiring film that will do justice to the legacy of one of the most important musicians of all time.

Peace, love, and oneness.
