Tekken 8 Reveals Feng, Panda, and Tekken Ball

Tekken 8 is shaping up to be one of the biggest fighting games of next year, and Bandai Namco is keeping the hype train going with the reveal of two more fan-favorite characters: Fang and Panda. The news was dropped at the Tokyo Game Show, along with the announcement that Tekken Ball will be returning as well.

Feng Wei is a master of Taijiquan who, guided by the teachings of the God Fist scrolls, aims to become the perfect warrior who transcends all — the Dragon God. However, at the most recent King of Iron Fist Tournament, Feng suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Wing Chun master Leroy Smith. Feng was first introduced in Tekken 5, and he has been a popular character among fans ever since.

Panda is a giant panda who also doubles as both Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard, the other bear in the Tekken series. Panda is a skilled martial artist who fights using a combination of kung fu and panda-style moves. Panda was first introduced in Tekken 3, and she has been a playable character in every Tekken game since.

The return of Tekken Ball is also exciting news for fans. Tekken Ball is a party game mode that was first introduced in Tekken 3. In Tekken Ball, players control their characters in a volleyball match, using their fighting moves to hit the ball over the net. Tekken Ball is a fun and chaotic mode that is perfect for playing with friends.

These new announcements are just the latest in a string of exciting news for Tekken 8. The game has already been confirmed to feature a number of new features and improvements, including:

  • New gameplay mechanics, such as the Heat System and Rage Arts
  • A new story mode that will continue the Mishima saga
  • A new roster of characters, including both new and returning faces
  • Improved graphics and visuals

Tekken 8 is scheduled to release on January 26, 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Fans of the series can’t wait to get their hands on the game and see what it has to offer.
