Hunters Assemble! Open Beta Test Announced!
Sharpen your blades and craft your best gear, because you can soon experience Monster Hunter Wilds for FREE! An Open Beta Test is happening next week across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam (with cross-play support!).
Here’s what you need to know:
- Dates: November 1st – November 4th (all times in GMT)
- PlayStation Plus Early Access: Hunt before anyone else! PlayStation Plus subscribers get a head start on October 29th.
- What’s included:
- Character Creation: Craft your perfect hunter with a robust character creation tool. Your creation will carry over to the full game!
- Story Trial: Dive into the opening cutscene and learn the ropes with a basic tutorial before hunting a Chatacabra.
- Doshaguma Hunt: Go solo or team up with friends (up to 4!) to take down the Alpha Doshaguma or explore the sprawling Windward Plains. You can even call in NPC Support Hunters for a helping hand.
- Bonus Rewards: Participate in the Open Beta and you’ll receive a special Pendant, Seikret mount item, and helpful item pack in the full release!
The Oilwell Basin: A Fiery New Frontier
The trailer unveiled the treacherous Oilwell Basin, a volcanic ecosystem brimming with danger and opportunity. Here’s a taste of what awaits you:
